Rental Conditions
**WE DO NOT REQUIRE A CREDIT CARD TO BOOK A VEHICLE!** A bank transfer up to 15% of the total amount is required to confirm the booking; the remaining amount can be paid in cash or by card at our office upon your arrival.
Your rental includes:
COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER (CDW): It caps the driver’s financial liability (depending on the car group). CDW does not cover tires, windshield and undercarriage damage. Furthermore, collision damage caused by impaired driving (alcohol or drug abuse) and traffic violations are not covered by this insurance. Deductible for Groups: A,B: € 550.00 + VAT. Groups: C,D,: € 675.00 + VAT. Groups: I ,L, Cauto, T, E, H, J2: € 835.00 + VAT. Groups: Z, X: € 1,150 + VAT.
V.A.T. 23%, Local Tax & Service Charges are included in the rate.
AIRPORT SURCHARGES: Airport charges are included in the rates.
UNLIMITED MILEAGE: Unlimited Mileage is included.
THIRD PARTY LIABILITY: Third party liability is included.
THEFT PROTECTION (TP): Theft protection covering loss or damage to the rental vehicle by or following theft.
PICK-UP / RETURN: We offer a free pick-up/return service available at the airport and any other locations within a 15 kilometer range from our main office or from the city centre, as long as the pick-up/return is during office hours (i.e. 9:00 am – 9:30 pm). Pick-up and return outside city limits may carry an extra-charge up 20 € + VAT each way. Pick-up and return outside office hours may also carry extra charge.
FIRE INSURANCE TO RENTAL VEHICLE: Included in the rates.
FREE ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE
ADDITIONAL SERVICES AND INSURANCE CAN BE PURCHASED LOCALLY.
These include:
1) FULL DAMAGE WAIVER (FDW): It waives the cap on the CDW: Groups: A/B, C, D, E, H, J, I, T, L, Cauto, Z, X : € 10.50 per rental day. FDW does not cover tires, windshields and undercarriage damage. Furthermore collision damage caused by impaired driving (alcohol or drug abuse) and traffic violations are not covered by this insurance.
2) PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE (PAI): Available at 5.50 € per rental day. It covers driver and passengers for medical expenses (up to 880.00 €) and for loss of life or permanent disability, it pays up to 8,800.00 € for the driver and each passenger of the rental vehicle. Overall indemnity for each accident is limited to 44,000.00 €.
3) BABY/CHILD CAR SEAT: Baby/Child car seats for ages 1 to 5 y, are available at 4 € per day.
4) ADDITIONAL DRIVER: For each additional driver, there is an extra insurance charge of 3.50 € per day
5) AFTER HOURS: For pick-up or return out business hours (10:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m.) 20.00 € + VAT charge might be applied.
6) GPS Available at 10 € per rental day.
Driver requirements:
LICENCE REQUIREMENTS: All drivers must show a valid EU or international driver’s license issued at least one year before the rental. They must also hold the car rental voucher at time of pickup.
DRIVERS AGE: Minimum driver’s age is 21. There is no maximum driver age as long as the driver holds a valid license.
CROSS BORDER POLICY: The car/scooter or quad cannot leave the island and access Greece without the car rental company’s prior written authorization. If the rental car leaves the island, additional road service charges and/or kilometer charges might be applied.
Pricing and Seasons: Low Season rates are valid from 1/4/2020 to 30/6/2020 and from 1/9/2020 to 31/10/2020. High season rates are valid from 1/7/2020 to 31/8/2020.
