The entire island of Zakynthos can be visited in 7 days. However, since local public transportation does not offer a comprehensive network of connections to all the local beaches and coves, the best solution is renting a vehicle.
For your convenience, we have prepared a 7 days itinerary that you can print and take with you. We will provide you a Free Map of the Island at the delivery of the vehicle.
Your scooter/car/quad will be delivered to the airport or to your hotel/accommodation within 1 hour of your arrival (if booked online). Visit the nearest beach. In the evening, we suggest a walk to the town of Zante or to Boxali Castle.

After booking an excursion to the Marine Park or renting your own boat (for info visit www.welcometozante.com), reach the port of departure and park your vehicle at the port (parking is free). When you get back, you can continue to Keri Beach, then to Marathia Beach and finally either watch the sunset at Faros Keri, which is also listed as an activity on Day 5, or relax at Kalamaki Beach.

Visit the beaches of Vasilikos (in order, Dafni, S. Nikolas, Banana Beach, and Gerakas). The access road is full of curves: be very careful. Due to its proximity to the port and the city, Argassi is not the cleanest beach for swimming. Dafni and Gerakas instead are part of the Marine Park and therefore offer crystal clear water and the opportunity to see Loggerhead turtle nests. Banana Beach is the largest and best equipped beach on the island and just like San Nikolas Beach it offers the opportunity to enjoy numerous watersports.

Visit Shipwreck Beach. To get there, you have several options, including a group excursion by catamaran or small boat, renting a private boat that does not require a boating licence or a boat with captain. We suggest reserve it in advance (Info & Bookings www.welcometozante.com). We recommend that you don’t postpone your visit to “Shipwreck Beach” until the last day of your holiday, because sometimes due to adverse weather conditions, the tour gets cancelled

Visit the beaches in Keri and Marathia and sunset at Faros Keri. These 2 beaches are quite close to each other, approximately a 10 minute drive. If you have already been there on day 2, you can just return to the one beach that you liked the best or visit the inland area all the way to Anafonitria, from where you can enjoy a spectacular view of Shipwreck Beach down below.

Visit Porto Roxa and Porto Limnionas. These 2 beautiful coves, with spectacular rock formations and crystal clear water, are farther away and require more time to arrive, but they are definitely worth the visit.

In Zante town: in the evening you can park your car or scooter in the town of Zakynthos and take a stroll on the main street, with its many shops, restaurants and cafes. Alternatively, you can reach the Bochali Belvedere from where you can enjoy a spectacular view of the city lights twinkling below. If instead you feel like dancing, you can go to the “Barrage” Club, which organizes the most famous parties on the island every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday (watch the Video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hO_EE1Ns8iU).
In Laganas: Laganas’ streets are generally crowded with teenagers between 18 and 21. In this area there is the largest concentration of pubs and night clubs of the island, we recommend that you pay maximum attention to where you park your vehicle; specifically, do not park in front of the clubs. The side of the road where you are allowed to park changes weekly, so ask someone before parking.
Parking is free on the entire island, except for some private parking lots.
The difference lies in the details and that is why our car rental service, which operates in the tourism and commercial sectors, clearly stands out for its quality, good taste, and excellent customer service, and provides a unique holiday experience.
